Sodexo ranked in top five among global outsourcing service providers

Company appears in the top five of IAOP Global Outsourcing 100 List for 3rd consecutive year.
Paris, April 30, 2008 - Sodexo, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, has been ranked number four overall among the world's leading outsourcing services companies by the International of Outsourcing Professional (IAOP) 1, an industry trade group.
For the third year in a row, Sodexo is ranked in the top five of the Global Outsourcing 100, a reference in the field of services and outsourcing.
Sodexo is also listed as one of the best companies in the “Facility Services” category as well as in the “Health Care” industry.
Companies were ranked based on 18 criteria including revenue growth, outsourcing experience, global presence, workforce skills and training, technical and business certifications (such as ISO 9001), the track record of the management team and the quality of its customer services.
The “Global Outsourcing 100,” as determined by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Fortune magazine.
SODEXO, founded in 1966 by Pierre Bellon, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, with more than 342,380 employees on 29,000 sites in 80 countries. For Fiscal 2007, which closed August 31, 2007, SODEXO had revenues of 13.4 billion euro. Listed on Euronext Paris, the Group's current market capitalization is more than 6.7 billion euro.

The Evaluation Team
The 2008 evaluation team was led by IAOP's Managing Director of Thought Leadership Jagdish Dalal, a Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) and world-renowned outsourcing expert who has worked as a senior executive in customer, provider, and advisor companies including Carrier, Xerox and PricewaterhouseCoopers for almost three decades. (Jag's work as the outsourcing customer for Xerox's $3.2B outsourcing contract with EDS was turned into a Harvard Business School case study and is used in many teaching curricula.)
